Grauer’s Gorilla Bracelets
All GRACE supporters on Great Apes Giving Day will be entered into a drawing to win our new Grauer’s gorilla bracelets. The bracelets say “Grauer’s gorillas – Pride of Congo” and are embossed with our website on the inside. Perfect for everyday wear to show off your gorilla pride! Ten lucky winners will be chosen.
Grauer Power T-shirts
If you give $100 or more to our campaign, you will be entered into our drawing for Grauer Power T-shirts. These shirts are made from a super soft cotton blend and have been very popular with all our friends. They are great conversation starters! We have women’s and men’s styles and we’ll contact winners for sizing and style preferences. Five lucky winners will be chosen.
Gorilla Artwork by Charity Oetgen
We are THRILLED to announce that award-winning conservation artist Charity Oetgen is now putting the finishing touches on a painting of one of the GRACE orphans. This is the first time she has painted one of the GRACE gorillas and has generously agreed to donate a 13 x 19″ print of her new piece to today’s top GRACE supporter! Visit: www.artbycharity.com to see more of her amazing work.
Prize winners will be drawn on Oct. 5 and notified thereafter. Donations must be received through the official Great Apes Giving Day site and on Oct. 4 to be eligible for the prize drawing. Good luck and thank you for supporting GRACE on Great Apes Giving Day!
Gorilla Rehabilitation and Conservation Education (GRACE) Center – GRACE was founded in 2009 and is the only facility in the world dedicated to providing in situ rehabilitative care for Grauer’s gorillas orphaned by poaching. GRACE’s ultimate goal is to return gorillas to the wild. GRACE also works with local communities, through education and other outreach programs, to help ensure the long-term survival of wild gorilla populations. Grauer’s gorillas only live in eastern Democratic Republic of Congo and have lost 77% of their population in the past 20 years due to poaching. They are Critically Endangered and considered to be one of the 25 most endangered primates in the world. For more information about GRACE, please visit us at www.gracegorillas.org, watch our video, and follow us on social media (Facebook: GRACE4gorillas and Twitter: @GRACEgorillas).
